” You can be as straight as a gun barrel theologically and as empty as one spiritually.”
-A. W. Tozer
Iย really enjoyed this quote posted by a lovely blogger and wish to share it. Recently in bloggerville there have been some dust ups over what I call legalism, discussions about the trinity, the nature of Christ in that relationship, all the way down to such foolishness as, “if I can’t take my dog to heaven than I refuse to believe in salvation completely.”
Oh, what tangled webs we weave with our thinkerings. For me it is simple, God is sovereign, He reigns, and He has our best interests at heart. We can trust Him fully and not worry about whether or not there will be peanuts on the plane to heaven. As I sometimes say, “relax, God will show us where the rest rooms are.”

Peanuts on the plane …lol. I’m with you. I sometimes find myself thinking that my idea of heaven is that God will let me know ALL the answers. (I’m more curious than any cat.) but then I realize that whether that’s anything like what heaven will be for me or not, it will be glorious and it will all,be worth it and then some.

LOL! Yes indeed, God will let us know all the answers and we can trust that He has our best interests at heart. Whatever He has prepared for us is beyond good. ๐
