Christian satire, biting, painfully true. Humor keeps me sane. Gallows humor. She who laughs, lasts. Here’s a couple of my favorites:

Ha! A sanctified onion, I love it. The Onion can be downright scary, as in “wait, I think that’s real life, not satire!”

Every time I post something lifted from The Onion, sure as shootin’ someone takes it seriously. That’s a measure of how crazy the world has become. Satire, reality — what’s the difference?

Me too, Becky! I was hesitant, satire can be a delicate thing. From what little I know however, the editor is Adam 4D, and he’s been doing Christian comics for a while now. I appreciate his sense of humor.

I know this will bring ire from some, but I liked Joel Osteen Ordered To Acquire Butcher’s License Due To Exegetical Methods. I have tiptoed around preachers like Pastor Osteen for too long, I think, because I was afraid of offending someone who finds help in his sermons. I don’t doubt that some learn something important about God from his teaching, but I think he leads many astray, largely because he does not handle Scripture well. And that’s what this article says in a humorous way.
