AI content is sometimes referred to as, “AI slop.” In contrast, I wish to notify people that everything I write is actually 100% “natural slop.” Organic, grass fed, sustainable, the whole works.

I’m actually not morally opposed to AI as a tool for something like editing or writing assistance. A bit humorous, but my reasons for not even using a spell check or a grammar helper are rather simple, they started glitching with my WP account and I was too lazy to try to debug it.

Also, we had a few debates that irritated me. I don’t like arguing with non sentient beings. If I wish to invent a whole new word and spell it all wrong, well, that’s really my business.

I like the word “bloviating.” It means, “speaking or writing at length in a pompous, windy, or excessively verbose manner, often saying very little of substance.” There is a whole lot of bloviating going on in the world right now, entire industries built around it, and yet a lot of spell checks don’t like the word. Go figure.

I do not wish to have to consistently justify my use of the word “bloviating” to both sentient and non sentient beings alike. To complicate matters even more there are some spelling and grammar variations in the world, the UK, Canada, even within areas of the US. If you have had to avail yourself of some free software from the bottom of a bargain bin somewhere, well, you just kind of have to accept that you’re British now. Enjoy the fruits of my labours.

I’m a mom, I actually really enjoy invented spelling and regional grammar, the more creative side of “creative writing.” I love poetry and regional dialects. You will never see me mocking anyone’s technical writing skills unless they call me a “moran” or something. I do think if you’re going to fly into a sputtering rage and insult me, you should at least take the time spell your bad words properly. Teh stoopid is a real thing.

Anyway, in case you haven’t noticed, I’m quite chatty, mostly conversational, and downright sloppy in how I write. Whereas I am not opposed to AI, I do intend to passive/aggressively rebel against it by being ten times more human than I already am.

This chaotic mess will continue, unapologetic and unhindered, for the foreseeable future.
