Do you need a good tear jerker today? I sure do, especially this year, not sure why exactly, perhaps a reminder that there is still good in the world, a light at the end of the tunnel, that love really does conquer all?
So here are a few sweet Christmas stories I’ve rounded up, “The Day Christmas Died” from “Straight From the Heart.” Love that reminder of God as healer, as restorer, and the wisdom He gives us. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26
“A Christmas Gift” was charming from Seeking Divine Perspective, actually a reblog from “My Life In Our Father’s World.” I love the power of story and of sharing, and of sharing stories! I was actually a shoeless waif once and a kind woman didn’t bring me shoes or firewood, or anything practical, she simply made me a beautiful purple dress. I’ve never forgotten it and in many ways it has shaped my whole life. Sometimes you don’t need what is practical, you need what is magical.
Lastly, we have this little video, a well written poem from a former highway patrolman. I Just loved it. Merry Christmas, everyone.
