Everybody’s heard the quote, “evil triumphs when good men do nothing.”
The reverse is also true, when good men do something, evil cannot triumph. Our authority and power was granted to us some 2000 years ago and our success is now seated in victory at the right hand of the Father. It’s a done deal. The good guys always win.
When good men DO something, everything changes.
I can be such a defeatist sometimes. That is simply wisdom that comes from experience and so I really have to battle against it. It’s a struggle, I tell ya! Who you gonna believe, your lying eyes or what God himself has said? And by “lying eyes,” I mean, a perfectly valid and reasonable observation that some 90% of people will be in complete agreement with.
God never told us to let our own reason reign supreme. In fact, the Bible says, “there is a way that seems right to a man…” Or my favorite, “lean not into your own understanding…” Those are awesome verses for the pessimists among us. Don’t believe your own negativity.

Anyway, I just wanted to offer some encouragement because it is the nature of the media to bring us doom and gloom, click bait. Social media also often runs on negativity, because we tend to talk about our troubles or our strife. Laughing here, but almost no one gossips about the good news! Perhaps we should like, Hey guess what, I saw someone doing something incredible the other day…..
I really have, I have spent all month watching good men do something in assorted ways, and it really matters, it has the power to change everything.
What a great paradigm shift— such a former fancy smancy educational term they loved throwing at us- hence why the educational system now sucks, but I digress— lets shift our sights and focus from gloom and doom— let’s ‘gossip’ about good deeds, wonderment, joy, because IB, it’s still all out there- it’s still happening just milling about under our noses— lets start looking for the good, the good guys, and gals,—
I’ll report back—

Amen! We’re on a mission to find some goodness in the world and to encounter a few heroes along the way. 🙂

I have been working on somethings that are driving up my need to get out of self and cut my negativity and negative influences. I have people in my life doing real good stuff. I can focus on that and the goodness and victory of GOD. Thank you.

When no one wants to stomp a roach or a spider, they seemed to cry when an exterminator handles everything

It will probably not surprise you that I happen to like spiders so I simply scoop them up and carry them outside.

You are a blessed person for it. I usually hear unholy noise from everyone else!

A woman not far from here had a spider come down in her car, so naturally she simply jumped out and evacuated. The car kept going, went off an embankment and into the river. Luckily no one got hurt, but it made me laugh. Especially amusing was the deadpan explanation from this cop as if the woman made a perfectly reasonable decision that he fully understood. 🙂

The world carries on because most people still care about the families, friends, and neighbors. Most people still want their lives to have significance to someone else. In their hearts they still know we love because He first loved us..
