So, Sean Feucht of “ Let us Worship,” has been planning a return to Seattle for more worship in the midst of chaos, on Monday, Labor Day at Gas Works Park. The park has been open and the city has allowed Chop, Chaz, BLM, and several other large gatherings to occur, but they have decided to pull the plug at the last minute on Christians and shut down the park where the gathering is scheduled to happen.
Here’s their release which says in part, “Gas Works Park will be closed all day September 7 due to anticipated crowding that could impact the public health of residents. Out of concerns for the safety of all those who visit Gas Works Park we have opted to close the entire park for the day.”
There WILL BE worship in Seattle on Monday, but we’re still going to need lots of prayers to help break off this spirit of injustice, of discrimination, of bias, of persecution against Christians that is so prevalent in this area it has just become a way of life for so many of us.
*****REPOSTING because God answers prayers! Yayyy! This event was a great success, the “worship event” simply became a legal “protest event” out on the streets in front of the closed park the city shut down at the last minute. A lot of miracles had to come together to make it all happen, so praising the Lord for His goodness and His answer to prayers.
