So, about the Berkeley meltdown, what can I say, there’s just something in the water. Berkeley is infamous for frequent foolishness. There’s something I want to say however about some aspects of the alt-right, especially the red pill Christians. Currently quite a few of them are busy glorifying in the pure pleasure of having gotten to watch this sleezeball punch a woman in the face. I’ve seen so many blog posts, links to the video, just gleeful celebrations of violence.

So when is it okay to punch an unarmed  5’1″ woman in the face? How about never. Yeah, never. Unless your life is actually in danger you’re just being a punk, a thug, a bully.  Nightwind777 actually provides a breath of fresh air denouncing this behavior. So hat tip there. It’s nice to know the whole world hasn’t gone totally mad.

I’m not going to link to Dalrock, to Vox Day, to the Daily Stormer, to Tomassi’s comment section, but suffice it to say, many red pills who call themselves Christians are actually in celebratory mode, having found a new hero, a thug who gives voice to all their repressed rage. If that is not enough evidence of the problem with red pill “Christians,” there is this character in the video wearing his “Jesus Will Judge You Coat” in neon yellow.

It’s that coat I want to speak of, the way we are all representatives of Jesus Christ. I actually wear a cross to remind myself of that. It’s also a bit like a wedding ring. I belong to someone, I am not really my own. It’s actually a bit scary sometimes, because I take that very seriously. Doing something foolish while wearing His uniform is a major offense.

I would never wear something like “Jesus Will Judge You,” because the moment I do that, I’ve got three fingers pointing right back at me. That becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Matthew 7:2, “For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”

So, you put on your neon yellow “Jesus Will Judge You” coat and then proceed to kick people down on the ground in the head, you are in some major trouble. Not good, not good at all. Jesus will judge you indeed and I don’t think He’s real happy when people misrepresent His name. Actually that’s probably the understatement of the year. “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea” -Mark 9:42

When we claim to represent Jesus Christ, and then while advertising that fact, we proceed to behave like thugs, punks, there are major spiritual consequences coming our way. That is no joke.
