****This guy should probably come with a trigger warning, a NSFW label, because it’s a pretty brutal story, definitely the struggles of a psychopath. In spite of all that brokenness however, I caught a few glimpses of Jesus Christ at work, at redemption and a new birth. His story is really the end result of atheism, the extreme end of what nihilism really means, the place where incoherence eventually goes.

Put on your steel mail sweater msb. I have seen the vitriol toward this man second to none by certain who say he is not entitled to a second chance.
(I have a post coming out tomorrow too where I make no apology for calling out assaults on faith)

I hear you, Colorstorm. It’s a pretty brutal story.
As to second chances, I’m pretty sure none of us are actually “entitled,” but hallelujah, we have a good God! 🙂
I of course am not a psychopath, but I do recognize some aspects of the spirit there and I grew up with this same kind of faulty reasoning, so I get it. It’s evil that doesn’t even know it’s evil. Scary stuff.
I like what this guy says about freedom. “Freedom” the way we think of it, isn’t really freedom at all. Christ came to set the captives free.
With all good gallows humor here, psychopaths are absolutely awful. Psychopaths without Jesus Christ are even worse. 😉

I bet if he had not become a person of faith they would be all about giving him a second chance. Would have said it was the fault of his upbringing.

Amazing! I especially LOVE Randy – Who “was different from other Christians” Really – Oh, he defended the faith… He argued Truth – hu. What a concept – look what can happen when we SPEAK the Gospel of Truth!

Amen! Randy fought back, he argued the truth, he defended the faith. I love that idea, too. It’s really that simple, it makes all the difference in the world. That IS the gospel. 🙂

Very beautiful. It goes to show it doesn’t matter what you’ve done, even sociopaths/psychopaths can be changed by the grace of God. That people that are written off by the world – oh, they’re just born that way, they just need to be locked up – can still be transformed. This must be deliciously offensive to those who think God’s grace is limited by how bad you are.

I haven’t heard of this fellow before. My your post and comments I guess there has been flack given to him – mockery about jail house conversions. But I love this testimony. Makes me think of the demon possessed man in the grave hard who was set free by Jesus. Then he went home and “published what had happened to him.” Sounds like two powerful influences – his father and Randy. Unsung heroes.

I first heard of David Wood via a video he had created after 9/11/01, where his friend Nabeel (Muslim at the time, turned Christian afterwards) revealed the reality of Muslim civilization jihad when a mosque was to be built at the WTC site. Thank God it was rejected! David also learned a lot about Islam and the concept of taqiyya (Ok for Muslims to lie to advance their cause towards sharia law and world domination) and created his blog entitled, “Answering Muslims.” I have learned a lot through that site!
I didn’t know that he tried to kill his father before becoming a Christian and went to jail for it! That CBN interview was quite eye-opening, and goes to show that anyone can be redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ through confession, repentance, and genuine belief in our Lord and Savior. How wonderful it is to learn that his dad forgave him for that brutal beating. Sounds like Satan lost his grip on David Wood’s heart, mind and soul. Hallelujah!

Fascinating! I had no idea. I’ve only recently just discovered David and he did kind of take me aback at first. It’s all good though, I truly do believe in the blood of the Lamb. There is nothing He can’t do, nothing He can’t fix. I don’t always understand it,but I sure do trust in it.

The key is to (as you wrote), “truly believe in the blood of the Lamb” and when we don’t always understand it, be “sure to trust in it.”
For anyone interested in viewing the video that introduced me to David Wood, here’s the link:
It was done 6 years ago. There are probably hundreds of videos where David Wood continues to instruct not only Christians, but all Americans on the deceptive nature of Islamic beliefs. We had seen the 0bummer BADministration protect the tenets of Islam (and allow terrorism to grow), while slamming Christians for 8 long, tedious years. He was obviously being led by the nose by Iranian born ValeriEVIL Jarrett; often labeled as Barry’s “closest advisor.”
I truly believe that God heard the millions of prayers from distraught Christians here in the U.S., and destined D. Trump to win the presidency. He’s not a perfect man or leader, (no human being is) because that ultimate role belongs to Jesus Christ! However, HilLIARy Clinton would have been the continuation of the Ozero BADministration…or maybe even worse!
The Lord God has given us a reprieve. I continue to pray that the goal of “draining the swamp” in Washington D.C. will be achieved.
The media of mass deception has been exposed. The corruption of the former BADministration is being exposed.
There will always be evil people who will refuse to be redeemed by Jesus Christ who “hate us (Christians) because they first hated Him (Jesus),” and will thwart the efforts of good being done and the spread of the Gospel. The more awakened people there are (who now see the truth of the past of ill-conceived “progressivism”…not only over the past 8 years, but over 30 years!) who recognize where so-called “leaders” were taking us…down the path of evil and corruption; the better it will be for the future of our beloved nation.
On this Good Friday, I pray that millions of souls will come to the saving grace of Christ’s work on the Cross! I pray that they will be redeemed and will share the Gospel with the lost! That is truly where our hope is! Our true hope in not in any human leader…it is only found in Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

Good…thanks! While searching for that video, I saw links that made the claim that a mosque did end of being built near ground zero! Anyone know if that’s true or not? A lot of “fake news” out there these days. I certainly hope it wasn’t built anywhere near the now standing Freedom Tower.

Atheism can be conditioned on anyone just as easily as any religion, perhaps more easily. Coming to Christ breaks the conditioning and makes you accountable.
I’m glad he got a second chance- I hope he says hyper vigilant, however. If he loses his confidence, he could be more dangerous than ever. We can’t stop studying Christ because we’re bored…

Wow, what a powerful post. I had to heard about David’s story before so thanks for sharing it. Sociopaths, yeesh, I’ve dealt with my fair share and recognize exactly what David mention about the lack of empathy and feeling superior. It’s truly a deeply embedded evil in a person that only God can cure.
