I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. -Genesis 9:13-16
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake- Ezekiel 1:28
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.-Rev 4:2-3
Amen.

This is the tune that came to mind as I watched Rainbow Flags being hoisted all over the place yesterday.

Ah, such a poignant song full of nostalgia.

The lyrics really seemed to fit. Sort of like, when the light of reason returns and the gender wars end, people will be free to love and live again.

Something I think we have to do Eric, is to try to carve out a little piece of paradise for ourselves, even in the midst of chaos. Life is too short to wait for the world to get it right, we have to snatch up the good things while we can.

I’m beginning to think it’s time to look to other countries to carve out a niche. American society is little more any longer than a collection of narcissists and herd-followers who don’t care who they step on; and they treat people and things that benefit them like garbage.

I can understand that, Eric. I often want to flee myself, but I’m married to this stand your ground kind of guy and we’re not going anywhere. He will not budge, we’ll go down with a sinking ship if need be.
I’m telling you, I have wanted to run away from home as a grown up far more than I ever did as a child. 😉

I lean towards standing ground too, but we’re running out of places to stand. I’m thinking in terms in terms of strategic withdrawl

I was just thinking about the significance of the rainbow and how I don’t think it’s a coincidence that homosexuals have adopted it as their banner. in a sense their mocking God by parading around in their wickedness while throwing God’s promise not to destroy humanity back in His face. It’s either ironic or very satanic. I’m guess the latter.

I never did see the rainbow. Just as well, I suppose.
Oh well, if the government takes over the Internet, it won’t be worth anything anyway.

Nathanael David I was thinking about that as well just a little while ago. I would say it is definitely satanic. Anytime a group or even individuals who hate God adopts one of His symbols it is no accident they know what they are doing.

Yesterday @ work there was word of a tornado warning, ten minutes later in the midst of gray skies, I saw the rainbow in all the blazing colors spanning and touching the earth, with of course, the perfect orb.The colors!
Naturally, in the midst of this discussion (WP), I smiled, and thanked God. I then thought about posting what IS the rainbow, not so much how it is abused, I wanted to accentuate the true and the positive further, like what you did here…………….
Happy to say too insanitybytes22, you mentioned the very scriptures that came to mind. God’s word is perfect, Always. Short and sweet here, but long on promises. His word is very good.
Always liked that tune by the former troubadour of Hawaii btw. All the best to you, and continued blessing..

The rainbow is gone. I almost feel like blogging again. Wonder why it came down. That “EW” graphic made me chuckle.
